450 guards and 2 km. fences protect Madonna in Sofia

Nearly 450 guards will be hired for the upcoming concert of Madonna in Sofia this Saturday.

This is the largest number of guards for a single concert in Bulgaria so far, announced the responsible “VIP Security” company on a press conference.

Two kilometers of fences will circle the inside and outside of the National stadium “Vasil Levski”, where the concert will take place. Their installation began a week before the event, noted the security company. Eight bodyguards from the “Personal safety” department will guard Madonna closely.

The entrance route is still under development. Organizers prepare for the two options Madonna will have – to either spend the night in Sofia or leave immediately after the concert. Six ambulances with two medic teams and one anti-fire vehicle will be located close to the stadium.

38 entrance points will take care of the audience’s entrance. Special signs will be placed on the “Eagles bridge” and near the bus stops. They will direct people to their respective sectors and seats in the stadium.
