700 trained social assistants in 12 municipalities offered social services to 2037 customers of the project “Social services in exchange for more jobs”. This was announced by the vice-minister of labour and social politics Yasen Yanev during the opening of the concluding conference on the topic “Social assistant – service with many aspects”.

“The providers of social services with experience and capacity in the “social assistant” field are 150″, pointed out the vice-minister Yanev and added, that 246 municipalities have sufficient capacity to co-finance and manage the services.

Yanev noted, that the co-ordination between the governmental institutions, local management and all sides involved and interested is a requirement to guarantee the full social inclusion of people with disabilities.
