A new logistics terminal will be constructed near Sofia

Schenker EOOD, part of the group of the international transport and logistics giant DB Schenker, began the construction of a new logistics terminal near Sofia. The investment in the project is nearly twenty million leva.

The company gave a start to a new investment project in Bulgaria despite the international financial crisis and the expectations for a shrinking of the economics and the real sector.

The logistics terminal of the company will be located on the international road to Kalotina, near Bozhurishte. It will spread over 48 thousand square metres and will include 3 thousand square metres of logistics storehouses, 2 thousand square metres of overload storehouses and 3 thousand squre metres of offices. The terminal will serve all European destinations, as well as internal lines, and will also have it’s own railway platform.
