A record of high temperatures in Bulgaria today

The meteorologist on duty from NIMH Anastacia Stoicheva announced the data from the measuring by the institute of the record setting hight temperatures at 2 P.M.

Sofia – 22.2 degrees, previous record in 1986 – 22 degrees.

Plovdiv – 25.8 degrees, previous record in 1970 – 24.6 degrees.

Pazardjik – 26.2 degrees, previous record in 1989 – 26.1 degrees.

Sliven – 23.5 degrees, previous record in 1970 – 22.2 degrees.

Kiustendil – 23.4 degrees, previous record in 1989 – 22 degrees.

Sandanski – 24.4 degrees, previous record in 1989 – 23.7 degrees.

Dragoman – 21.9 degrees, previous record in 1970 – 19.6 degrees.

The interesting thing about today is, that such warming is characteristic for the month of September, and by the Danube coast the temperatures are considerably lower. By the river is also foggy, noted the meteorologist.
