A salon of wood carving opens in Tryavna

Wood carvings from all over Bulgaria will be presented for a second time in the yard of the Daskalov’s house – a beautiful home with carved suns on the ceiling.

The second Exhibition of wood carving art opens at 18:00 o’clock. The book of the professor Anton Donchev, based on his art, will also be presented at the opening.

The union “Tryavna’s sun” is the main organizer of the event. This organization unifies representatives of the wood carving schools of Tryavna and the municipality administration. More than 40 artists will participate in the exhibition, as well as teachers and students from the National artists academy.

“The good thing about the exhibition is that it isn’t centered around a theme, there are no restrictions for the participants or a commission that could stop or hinder someone’s participation”, noted the wood carving artist from Tryavna Usta Darin Bojkov, one of the main organizers of the event.
