Artifacts from the Ruse historical museum enter the European virtual exposition

Eleven exponates from the History museum in Ruse will enter the Virtual museum of European roots, which will be presented at numerous internet spots.

The international project is financed by the program Leonardo da Vinci of the European commission. Partners of the project are scientific institutes from Italy, Romania and Bulgaria.

The archaeologist from the Ruse museum Dimitar Chernakov chose the specific artifacts from the digs at the Ruse village mound.

The chief of the archaeological project Marco Merlinni is at the spot in Ruse today, taking pictures of the artifacts with special technology that will enable a 3D presentation of the artifacts. Marco Merlinni also works in the institute for archeomythology in the US, as well as the universities in Sibiu and Solun.
