Bulgaria’s FC Litex Lovech was eliminated from the UEFA Cup tournament Thursday night after its second match with the British team Aston Villa ended in a 1:1 draw.

Thus, with a total score of 4:2 Aston Villa proceeds to the next phase of the tournament (in the first match in Bulgaria Villa won 1:3).

The first goal on Villa Park was scored by Villa’s striker Marlon Harewood in the 27th minute of the game. The goal for Litex came in the 53rd minute after Wilfred Niflor scored from a penalty kick.
