Bansko greets guests with a 100 metre long flat sausage

While the international women ski elite is in Bulgaria for the World cup competitions, the Day of the traditional appetizers from Bansko and local red wine also turned many eyes. The biggest surprise was the 100 metre long flat sausage.

Over 500 lovers of the Bansko dishes and the fine red wine gathered around the aromatic grills. Long tables with delicious dishes were arranged on the square “Nikola Vaptsarov”. The music background was provided by local orchestras and the guest Vasko Lazarov.

Foreigners could not hide their bewilderment at the delicious dishes. The enormously long flat sausage gained the most attention. “Our dishes and wine unite us with our foreign guests. They gained a bit of the local spirit now”, said locals.
