Bulgaria – first in AIDS prevention funding

Bulgaria provides the most money per capita for AIDS prevention in the region of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
This was announced by the permanent UN development representative and coordinator of UN in Bulgaria Henry Jaklin. He participated in today’s meeting, marking the end of the first program for “AIDS prevention and control” for the 2004 – 2008 period, financed by the World fund for AIDS prevention.
