Bulgaria has a stable currency

The state of stable currency in Bulgaria means that there will be no trouble when the Euro is introduced.

That was announced by the minister of economics and energetics Petar Dimitrov in front of Nova TV, countering the argument that the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria could have drastic outcome.

“We practically use the Euro even now, because the Bulgarian lev is backed by the Euro. We’ve guaranteed the stability of the lev with the currency board. So the actual introducing of the Euro in Bulgaria is the second step of the currency stability of the country”, added Petar Dimitrov.

He flatly discarded the thesis of inflation increase after the introduction of the Euro as national currency in Bulgaria.
