Bulgaria has over 10 thousand millionaires, according to the research of the investment bank Merrill Lynch. The research claims that the biggest concentration of millionaires in the world is in three regions – Latin America, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Half of these millionaires made their money through estate trading. This goes to Bulgaria, as well.

The research shows that Bulgaria has the highest number of multimillionaires in Eastern Europe.

The chairman of the Bulgarian industrial chamber Bozhidar Danev was cited, saying that nearly 70% of the owners of building companies in the country are millionaires.
