Bulgarian children from eight countries at the folklore fair in Kavarna

The producer company “Pirina” and the municipality of Kavarna organize the Sixth Bulgarian youth folklore fair “With Bulgaria in the heart” in Kavarna between May 15th – 17th.

The idea for the fair is based on the idea of the late dr. Anna Karaangelova in 2004. Bulgarian children living in Moldova, Ukraine, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Romania and Bulgaria will participate in the fair.

A public prayer for all Bulgarians in Bulgaria and across the world will take palce on May 15th. The folklore singer Ilia Lukov and other artists from all over Bulgaria will show their gratitude for the well-organized fair with a gift to the mayor of Kavarna Tsonko Tsonev a – an icon of St. Ivan Rilski.

Participants in the fair will be evaluated by a jury of professionals, lead by prof. Elena Ognyanova – folklorist and writer. The best participants during the day will take part in the evening grand concerts, which will be shown on four national televisions.
