Bulgarian tourists in Albena doubled

The Bulgarian tourists that preferred Albena as the resort for their vacation doubled compared to the same period of 2008, revealed the Agency Focus citing the Sales department of the complex.

The total number of tourists that rest in Albena is 14 500 people. Nearly 30% of them are Bulgarians.

Overall, the complex reported a 10% decrease of tourist visits compared to 2008. The decrease is due to the smaller number of foreign tourists in Albena this year.

Tourists from France and the Scandinavian countries are significantly less, dropping by nearly 30%. The number of foreign tourists from Germany and Russia is 25% lower.
