Bulgarians vote with 2 integral voting papers

People will have to vote with two integral voting papers – one for the majority candidates for members of parliament and one for the party lists. This was clarified today at the regular press conference of the spokesperson of the Central Election Committee Alexander Alexandrov.

Voting papers will be provided to the sections immediately before voting begins. Supervisors of the voting booths will stamp the papers once before and after voting on them.

June 20th is the deadline for citizens that need to send their certificates for voting from a current address.

Twenty parties and coalitions are registered for the national elections, reminds the National Election Committee. Nine of them keep their numbers from the EU elections. Others had to pick new numbers.

The candidate lists for all political formations have to be sent in by tomorrow. Candidate-members of parliament have to send certificates for the age and citizenship requirements.
