The suggested budget of the municipality administration of Sozopol for 2009 is 27 million leva. This is 5 million leva more than 2008. The larger sum is needed to cover the expenses of the main objectives of the municipality, insist municipality representatives. “The risk that we take by increasing the budget in the face of the oncoming crisis is a calculated one, because we gave a considerable start to our activities in the previous year,” says the mayor Panaiot Rezi.

The improvement of the living conditions in villages and the increasing of the standards of their citizens is among the top priorities of the administration, added Rezi.

The mayor and his team already started the financial revision of the municipality for 2008, and presented the budget for 2009.
