Submitted on Thursday, 13 November 2008No Comment

In two weeks, the procedure for concession of the Ruse airport will be announced. Those were the words of the member of parliament minister of transport Iudzhel Atilla during the conference for “Partnership between public and private in action”.

The procedure will be announced for the second time. The first time it was ended because of a lack of investor interest. According to Atilla though, the requirements to concessioners won’t be so conservative.

The number of concessioned transport sites to this day is six. The total amount of investments in them will be one billion leva. The income for the country just from the initial payments will be half a billion leva. For the first nine months of this year, 17 million leva will be added to the national treasury.

The country already concessed the airports in Varna and Burgas to the german operator “Fraport”.
