Daniel Valchev wrote a book

“My book is the answer to the one written by Sergei Stanishev – “Because we are socialists”. Bulgarians have little information on who they are voting for, and we lack the much needed informed choice”, said the vice-prime minister and minister of education and science Daniel Valchev for Nova TV when asked about his book “To love out of spite”.

“Bulgaria lacks the systematic exposure to the views of politicians. In this book I’m putting the emphasis on the fact that I’m not socialist, rather than that I am a liberal”, explained Valchev. Thus he denied the rumours that he will lead the list of the socialist party BSP in Plovdiv.

When asked if he was worried whether NDSV will manage to surpass the 4% barrier and enter the National assembly, Valchev said that entering the parliament is not the most important thing in life. Daniel Valchev insisted that education will be a priority even when he is no more a minister of education.
