Education wants it’s estates

The Ministry of education demanded a ban on the intentions of municipalities to alter the purpose of estates meant for educational needs, if they don’t have the exact permission of the Ministry.

Minister Daniel Valchev presented to the Council of Ministers a suggestion for changes in the laws regarding the defence of estates belonging to schools, kindergartens and universities from restitution. They will be discussed at the next operative conference of the government.

He also suggests that restituted educational estates be taken back if an emergency arises. Minister Valchev will suggest that the same measures be taken for other sites with publical importance – estates important to culture and history, fields, public parking lots, etc.
