Festival of antique heritage – September 18th – 20th

This year marks the second edition of the festival, which is organized by the municipality of Svishtov”, announced docent Stoyan Prodanov, chairman of the Council for tourism in Svishtov.

Last year, the municipality organized the festival “Orel na Dunava” (“Eagle of the Danube”), dedicated to the archaeological monuments of the Roman presence in the region.

Thracian rituals will be presented during the three days of the festival this year. An international scientific conference dedicated to the goth heritage will also take place. Re-enactments of ancient Roman traditions and rituals will once again take place. The goal of the festival is to reveal the rich cultural heritage of the city, commented docent Prodanov.
