Gonzo isn’t quitting ‘Levski’

The forward of ‘Levski’ Georgi Ivanov shared he does not intend to give up the football club in spite of yesterday’s implications of thinking of retiring from football.

‘I never said I quit. I’m staying in ‘Levski’ and I’ll be ready for the meeting with ‘Lokomotiv Mezdra’. It’s normal for a human to have such kind of thoughts after such a loss but I didn’t say I firmly quit football’, said Gonzo.

He added that after the several failures the atmosphere in the changing-room isn’t good at all. Ivanov explained that after the loss against Zilina the owner of the club Todor Batkov would not meet the football players.

‘The owner isn’t obliged to talk to us, the players. There are people beneath him, who take care of this.’
