Great interest in the festival “Scene of the centuries” in Veliko Tarnovo

The city Veliko Tarnovo is busy preparing the opening of the festival “Scene of the centuries”. According to the announcement of the Municipal agency for tourism “Tsarevgrad Tarnov”, the cultural event will open on August 7th and end on August 16th.

Many native and foreign tourists are expected to attend. On August 7th, 8th and 9th, the history stage of Tsarevets will present the opera “Prince Igror” by Alexander Borodin. Alexander Krunev and Vladimir Openko will take turns playing the main role.

On August 11th, the stage will be taken over by the ballet “Zorba the Greek”, with music by Mikis Teodorakis, one of the prominent Greek composers. On August 14th, 15th and 16th, the audience will see the opera “Tzar Kaloyan” by Pancho Vladigerov. All events start at 21:00 h.
