Internet in 25% of the households in Bulgaria

Each fourth household in Bulgaria had internet access in 2008, announced the National statistics institute (NSI).

The relative share of society that used the limitless opportunities of the modern computer technology grew with 6% in 2008. 43% of the people in Bulgaria said that they had computer access in 2008.

One third of the Bulgarian populace goes online every day or at least once a week for various goals or activities. The most active age is between 16 and 24 – 29%, followed by the ages 25-34, representing 27% of the online Bulgarian community.
