Kadiev is the candidate of BSP for the mayor elections in Sofia

The latest meeting of the City coucil of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) approved of the application of the municipal councilman Georgi Kadiev for the upcoming mayor elections in Sofia.

Out of the 13 applications that the socialist party reviewed, 12 did not confirm their intentions and did not send motivation letters and CVs, stated the chairman of the Sofia branch of the party Rumen Ovcharov.

He reminded that ten years ago, he was in the same position as Kadiev.

Ovcharov stated that negotiations with other parties in the Coalition for Bulgaria already took place and next week Kadiev will be announced as the candidate of the whole coalition.

Kadiev stated that he sees his application as a natural development of the events that took place over the last four years. He added that he could have a flying start in the Town Hall because he’s already well acquainted with the issues in the municipality.
