Laura Chukanov, the American from Bulgarian descent runner-up for the “Miss USA 2009” title, will be the special guest of the Fifth international Bulgarian media summit.

The meeting opens tomorrow with a ceremony in the ceremonial hall of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.

The daughter of Bulgarian emmigrants, Laura Chukanov won the title “Miss Utah 2009”. She was born in Sofia on June 5th 1986. She was brought by her family to the US in 1990.

She’s a fluent speaker in Bulgarian, English, Spanish and Russian.
