Thus the “blue” team remained on top of the rankings with 67 points two rounds before the season’s end. The players of Emil Velev deservingly triumphed over the “white” team and retained their advantage of two points ahead of CSKA.

This was the 56th victory of Levski in the oldest Sofia derby of 116 matches in total. Slavia remains with 20 victories, the latest of which took place six years ago – on March 8th 2003 on the stadium “Georgi Asparuhov”.
