Maria Grozdeva – champion of Europe for the ninth time

Maria Grozdeva is the European women’s shooting champion for the ninth time in her career.

The Bulgarian sport shooter entered with the first result in the finals of the 25 meter air pistol and emerged victorious.

The European championship took place in Osiek, Croatia.

The Bulgarian won 791 points. Lenka Maroshkova from the Czech Republic was 4,9 points behind her. The shooter from Poland Slavomira Shpek was third.

This is the second triumph for Maria Grozdeva for this year, after winning the golden medal at 10 meters in the Czech Republic.
