More than 10 000 tourists rest in Albena

There are over 10 000 tourists in Albena at the moment, announced Darik radio.

By the end of June, the expected number of tourists is 15 thousand.

The decrease of visitors compared to last summer is under 10%, despite the expected drastic decrease.

Even though these numbers are reassuring, hotel owners are still worried about the months July and August, because the prepaid reservations are less than during the 2008 season.

Since the beginning of 2009, German tourists are the most frequent visitors of Bulgaria – 48 thousand. They are followed by Romanians with 46 thousand visits, and Russians with 30 000.
