Next year the healthcare payments become 8%

The deputees decided that the reserve for the budget of the healthcare fund will be 401 million leva. This happened during the final decisions of the government on the financing of the National healthcare funds for 2009.

During the discussions of the budget deputees from all parliamentary parties objected the size of the reserve and insisted that part of these funds go straight to healthcare needs. The voting, however, showed general agreement with the reserve proposed by the government. This way, these 401 million leva will remain untouchable in the National bank, making the total amount of untouchable funds to 777 million leva.

The deputees agreed on the proposal of Rumen Ovcharov of 5% more financial aid for the healthcare fund if the balance halfway into the next year is positive.
