Niki Vasilev: Bulgarians are ready for electronic voting

Fourty million leva will be required for the coming elections and the voting for European parliament deputees from Bulgaria.

This was announced in Pleven by the minister of national administration and administrative reforms Nikolai Vasilev, cited by the Bulgarian National Radio.

The demands will be for a much larger sum – 50-60 million leva, but the goal of MDAAR and the Ministry of finance will be to limit them to about 40 million because of the crisis, added Vasilev.

According to him, Bulgarians have the mentality and intellect to vote electronically, but that’s an entirely political decision.
