Offenders with someone else’s IDs caught at the entrance of the Parliament

The first tests of the entry system in the National assembly took place today. “We need between 20 and 25 days to make it fully functional,” explained the chief of the commission for legal issues Iskra Fidosova.

There is no way to vote with some other parliamentary member’s ID card by taking it personally, because the system will block you at the entrance if you carry more than one ID card”, said she.

The tests in the parliamentary building on the “Alexander Batenberg” blvd. confirmed the flawlessness of the system. We can put it to use any day now,” clarified Fidosova.

The production of the new ID cards took place over the last two weeks. They will fit both the entry regime and the voting system, stated Fidosova. This morning they were tested in the plenary hall, showing the names, affiliations to a political party and speech time for each test.
