Pirin expects over 2000 Greek tourists for Easter

The newspaper “Standard” reported that the region of Pirin mt. expects over two thousand Greek tourists for Easter.

Most of the hotel base is already reserved and the municipalities are considering other opportunities to meet the requirements of the large number of guests for both lodging and transportation.

The monastery of Rila also expects many visits. For the first time ever, tourists will be offered beds in the hotel belonging to the monastery.

Four of the five storeys of the hotel building have been repaired and are ready for the needs of 150 tourists. Staying in a room with two beds costs 30 leva, and in a room with three – 25 leva.

A restorer is working inside the monastery. The monks are restoring three old buildings that were destroyed. The new buildings will be exact copies of the old ones.
