Plugchieva expects the unblocking of SAPARD funds soon

The funds of the pre-accession instrument SAPARD for Bulgaria might be unblocked soon.

This was announced at today’s meeting between the vice-prime minister Meglena Plugchieva, who is responsible for the management of the European funds in Bulgaria, and the minister of agriculture Valeri Tsvetanov with the European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Mariann Fischer Boel.

Plugchieva and Tsvetanov informed Boel for the accomplishments of Bulgaria since May 14th, when the last meeting of the European commission that discussed the plans for the removal of the misdeeds in Bulgarian spending of the pre-accession instrument SAPARD.
