Saudi prince will invest in a hotel in Bulgaria

The second richest Saudi prince – Al-Waleed bin Talal – will invest in the construction of a luxurious hotel in Bulgaria.

This was made clear after his meeting with the Bulgarian president Georgi Parvanov yesterday. The president gave the prince an order “Madara Rider” of the highest rank.

Al-Waleed bin Talal stated that it’s very probable that the hotel will be in Sofia, but it isn’t out of the possibilites to make it a seaside hotel. His interest in the hotel business isn’t new – he owns shares in chains like “For season”, “Fairmont” and “MГ¶venpick”. He is also a partner of high-ranking hotels like “George” in Paris, “Plaza” in New York and “Savoy” in London.
