Spanish tourists cross Bulgaria with retro trains

43 Spanish tourists from Barcelona will make a one-day trip from the station Dimovo through Lakatnik to Sofia on May 2nd.

For the sixth consecutive year, the Bulgarian railways give the start to the series of tourist attraction tours with retro trains. The specialized tourist programs with visits of important tourist sites, mostly of cultural, historical and natural importnace, are now a staple of the Spanish tourism market.

Over 1000 tourists from Spain traveled through Bulgaria in recent years. A new, one-day program with a trip between Belogradchik, Lakatnik and Sofia is the addition to the traditional Grand Railway tour of the Bulgarian Nostalgia Express.
