Stanishev presented the plan for 2009 – 2013

Today the Bulgarian socialist party (BSP) presented their plan for stable economics in the period 2009 – 2013.

Syndicates, employers, ministers and members of parliament of BSP and the Coalition for Bulgaria presented their governmental projects in different fields – macroeconomics and financial politcs; social politics; law and justice; national safety and international relations.

“This is a new plan for a strong and stable Bulgaria”, commented Stanishev. He added that this is a carefully thought out strategy that takes into consideration three main priorities – keeping the stability of the country at all costs with a team of experts; improvement of the standards of life and increasing employment opportunities; effective education and quality healthcare; support of people suffering from the crisis and lay offs.

According to Stanishev, unlike many other parties that are rich on promises, but lacking in execution, BSP has proven that their engagements are realized to the end.

Stanishev pointed out that other political parties are reluctant to make concrete promises, because they lack a plan. They also have no idea what to do when they are in the government.

“In the conditions of an international crisis, it’s very risky to experiment with the government. I’m following the governmental plans of the various political parties. I saw that our coalition partners have made good observations on the plans of GERB. Our democratic opponents rely on far right-wing politics instead of offering solutions to the serious problems,” said Stanishev. He expressed his willingness to debate the political plans with his main opponents.

“I’m convinced that people have the right to make an informed choice. Our program will lead Bulgaria to match the highest European standards”, said Stanishev.
