The bulgarian movie “Shivachki” received an award in Spain

The bulgarian movie “Shivachki” from the director Liudmil Todorov received the Award of the audience from the International cinema festival “Mostra Valencia” in Spain, that took place last week.

The film was shown in the section “A panorama of films already awarded by other european festivals” and competed for the only award against 20 other productions.

“Shivachki” was selected from the prestigious company of competing movies after a string of awards in Bulgaria, the Special award of the jury in Karlovi Vari and the Award of the international film critique (FIPRESCI) during the international Sofia Film Fest.

The film “Shivachki” premiered in Madrid during the fourth worldwide conference of bulgarian medias, organized by BTA in May this year. The spanish audience gave a warm reception to the bulgarian effort.
