The Bulgarian-Serbian program invites project proposals

The first invitation for project proposals of the Trans-border cooperation program between Bulgaria and Serbia was announced today. The program is part of the pre-integration assistance between Bulgaria and Serbia.

The invitation for project proposals will be published at the following web pages: www.ipacbc-bgrs.eu; www.bgregio.eu ; www.evropa.gov.rs ; www.eufunds.bg.

The goal of the program is to improve the territorial co-existence in the trans-border region of Bulgaria and Serbia, the competition and stability of development in the economic, social and ecology spheres.

The funds for the Program in the period 2007 – 2009 is 13,5 million euro. 7 million euro are provided for the projects presented during the first invitation period.

The program will provide for projects in the following two fields: Development of the small-scale infrastructure; Development of the capacity for mutual planning, problem solving and growth.
