The volleyball players from the Bulgarian national team are confirmed participants in the biggest tournament – the World league in 2010.

Even though the team of Silvano Prandi remained ninth in the final rankings for 2009, their place in the next season is almost secure, because the FГ©dГ©racion International del Volleyball (FIVB) changed the formula that determines the participating teams.

So far, the executive board of FIVB decided the teams in the World league alone. This year however, they organized qualifications, in which only the teams of Venezuela and Japan will participate (respectively the 15th and 16th team in the final rankings).

Thus, the Bulgarian team has an almost secured spot in the World league in 2010.
