The crisis stopped construction for 3 billion leva

The chief of the Chamber of builders Ivan Boykov said in an interview with the newspaper “Sega” that constructions for three billion leva in the capital Sofia have been stopped due to the crisis. In his opinion, the crisis will get stronger in the summer.

“The construction of office buildings, malls or even houses in Sofia has been stopped temporarily. There are many construction sites with an approval for building and provided financing, but investors lacking the courage to start them”, added he.

According to Boykov, the situation at the seaside is very serious. The construction of numerous hotels and villas has been stopped, with a decrease of contruction by 30%.
