The first green university in Europe – in Varna

A project for a “Green university” will be realized in the seaside capital of Bulgaria. This facility will prepare it’s students to think and construct with nature in mind.

This was made clear at a press conference in the presence of representatives of the local administration and the European agency for financial engineering.

During the meeting, the French architect Jeanne Marrie Belen presented the project for the creation of the institute that is connected with the development of nature-conscious society and the related education.

“I chose Varna for the home of my institute, because the city has potential in that field”, commented he. He added that the seaside capital can be a role model as far as environmental protection is concerned.

The education in this institute is not tied to a diploma. It will provide professional education that will allow the students to put their studies into practice related to ecology. The institute will emphasize on research laboratories that seek new solutions for the construction business.
