The ISPA funds unblocked by May

Gergana Pasi confirmed during an interview for Nova TV that the finances from the ISPA program will most probably be unblocked by the end of May, citing the vice-prime minister Meglena Plugchieva.

The information from Gergana Pasi countered the wide-spread media rumours for the permanent blocking of the 115 million euro, which were meant for the Bulgarian infrastructure, and which had to be unblocked by the end of March – early April.

One of the main reasons for the so-called “punishment” from the European union is the slowing of the critically important Law for conflict of interests, insisted Gergana Pasi.
