After the law on tourism was changed two years ago, it is now almost ready to be changed again with a new set of alteration. That was suggested by the floor leader of the National Movement for Stability and Progress Plamen Mollov, also one of the junior partners in the three-way ruling coalition, after he filed a draft bill for Parliament debates, Stroitelstvo Gradut weekly reported.

Some planned changes include all hotels and other tourist housing facilities to go through evaluation and re-classification every five years. The purpose of this is all building to get into a list of five-star comfort category and then it can remain as such for unlimited amount of time.

In addition, Mollov said that this can improve the quality of service and can avoid the amortization of buildings, which is meant to be after three to four years of usage.
