Today the municipality of Burgas opened a new zone for free wireless Internet. The zone covers the square and garden in front of the municipality building.

The internet service is available to any citizen having the compatible mobile device or mobile computer.

This is the second WiFi (WiFi – Wireless Fidelity) zone that the municipality opens for the citizens of Burgas, after opening the first WiFi zone for all visitors of the administrative building on “Alexandrovska” 26 str.

The opening of the new WiFi zone marks the beginning of many such zones getting opened in Burgas, giving free access to internet to the citizens. The active construction of the WiFi zone network is set to begin in 2009.
