The municipality of Lovech co-finances a project of the Norvegian collaboration program

The municipality of Lovech will support the union “Devetashkoto plato” with 3000 euro, announced the mayor of Lovech Mincho Kazandzhiev. The project of the union won the financing of the Norvegian collaboration program – a total of 121 000 euro. The project will be realized in nine villages on the territories of the municipalities Lovech, Sevlievo and Letnitsa.

The villages from the municipality of Lovech are Brestovo, Devetaki, Kakrina and Tepava. The planned activities include the creation of information and service centers in the nine villages, the computer education of people from the village, educating the locals in the tourism business. The creation of tourism infrastructure, the inclusion of young people in the studying and publishing of local history and other activities are also planned.

The municipality of Lovech, along with the other two municipalities, supported the idea of the project and expressed their willingness to co-finance the activities after a decision of the municipality council.
