The negotiations between the European Commission and Bulgaria must go on, insisted the Bulgarian eurocommissar Meglena Kuneva. Her words addressed the issue of the stopped European funds for Bulgaria.

Commissar Meglena Kuneva said that there is no time to be insulted, and that the negotiations between the EC and Bulgaria must continue. She also commented for the Bulgarian national radio the coming of the head of the expansion department Michael Lee.

“Everything that the Bulgarian side can provide as a stance or argument, they will do so face-to-face with the man that signs the letters, the man that bears the financial responsibility for the sums given.”
