This year Bulgaria will once again attract Romanian tourists

This year, many Romanian tourists are expected to head for the Bulgarian seaside resorts, revealed the Romanian online periodical Evenimentul Zilei.

Bulgarian resorts offer significant discounts and additional conveniences for children.

Only one Romanian hotel chain offered bonuses and tour operators are worried that Bulgarian resorts will take significant portions of the Romanian tourist stream. At the same time, Romanian tourist firms reduce prices only in emergency cases.

A holiday at the Sunny beach costs 380 euro, compared to 420 euro for a week at a Romanian seaside resort.

The next step for Bulgarian tourist companies, according to Evenimentul Zilei, is the extension of the period for early reservations to May.
