The Russian president Dimtrii Medvedev refused to give guarantees, that the gas crisis with Ukraine will not happen again – because according to him, the ones that started the crisis should be the ones giving promises. Medvedev said that in an exclusive interview for the Bulgarian national television. According to the Russian president, the topic for the improvement of the energetics co-operation between Bulgaria and Russia will definitely be discussed during the visit of his Bulgarian colleague Georgi Parvanov in Moscow next week.

For the first time after the speculations for division in the Medvedev-Putin team, the president commented his relations with the prime minister. He called them friendly, and his critique to the government – very normal. “We end with an admission for the main lesson of the presidential post – to always give a straight answer”, finished Medvedev.
