The Bulgarian rose and Sevtopolis – at an exhibition in the European parliament
A special presentation of the qualities of the Bulgarian rose will be made in the end of January in the European parliament in Brussels. The idea for the exhibition belongs to the European deputee Evgeni Kirilov.
On January 26th, a 600 square metres booth will open, and the municipalities Karlovo and Kazanlak will present their perfumery products, photographs and catalogues from the Valley of roses. A special place will also be provided for the presentation of the Valley of Thracian kings.
A miniature model of the Thracian city Seuthopolis, which is still unavailable for tourist visits, will also be present at the exhibition. The city is located beneath the waters of the artificial lake Koprinka, near the city Kazanlak. The architect Zheko Tilev will provide the miniature model for the exhibition.
