The football player Dimitar Berbatov, the volleyball player Plamen Konstantinov and the director Yavor Gardev are nominated for the prestigious Bulgarian contest ‘Man of the year’, which has a 17-year history.

The voting for the three nominees has already begun at the specially created website www.manoftheyear.bg. The voting will last for 25 days. During almost the entire period of voting the visitors of the site will be allowed to keep track of the temporary position of the three men in the chart, which will be renewed every seven days. Four days before the end of the voting the results will be dropped down to zero.

Nobody will know the temporary leader in the contest on October 27. The name of the winner will be announced on November 10.

The award ceremony will be held in the beginning of December in the Military club in Sofia.
