The vice-minister of transport Vesela Gospodinova announced for the Bulgarian National Radio that the first five km. of the highway “Liulin” will be constructed within a month.

The construction of the highway is funded by the national budget. The losses will be recouped with the 115 million euro from the ISPA program, which were unblocked recently. Those money were temporarily blocked last year.

“The working group for the construction of the highway is lead by Frank Bindor, an expert from Germany who is watching closely the development the project. High level meetings with the Turkish company that will take care of the projects and with the construction observers are taking place as well”, informs Gospodinova.

“We overcame all problems we faced in the past. Construction is currently going in schedule”, added Gospodinova.
